Economic Outlook Seminars
Slated for October

In today's uncertain economic times it is crucial for South Dakota business leaders to fully understand the state's economy as well as national trends that impact the workforce available to them.  In an ongoing effort to assist with that understanding, the South Dakota Chamber of Commerce and Industry is presenting the third annual Economic Outlooks Seminar series.

David Owen, President of the South Dakota Chamber of Commerce and Industry announces the upcoming "South Dakota Economic Outlook Seminar."  The main event will be held in Sioux Falls Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at the Ramkota.

This year's agenda will include Dr. Ralph Brown's annual economic reports, a panel discussing the impact to South Dakota from new credit card laws and special guest speaker Dr. Robert Wright, Nef Family Chair of Political Economics at Augustana College in Sioux Falls.

A second date and community location will be announced later this month, along with additional agenda topics.
