YBA to Benefit from SME

Youth Benefit Auction

Sioux Falls, SD (September 3, 2009) -- Sales and Marketing Executives, Inc. of Sioux Falls (SME) announced today that Deuces Wild Dueling Pianos will be the entertainment at their annual SME Youth Benefit Auction to be held on September 25, 2009 at C J Callaway’s in Sioux Falls.  Funds raised at the auction go to support Youth Business Adventure and SME College Scholarships.

What is YBA?

Youth Business Adventure is a week-long summer program, sponsored by the SD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, planned and implemented by business people for the purpose of opening the world of South Dakota business opportunities to the state’s young people.  Current SD high school juniors are eligible to apply for awards to attend YBA.  For more information on YBA call Ph:  800-742-8112.

Which College Students Benefit?

Students enrolled at institutions of higher learning in South Dakota for their second year or beyond are eligible to apply for the scholarships given in April of each year.  Further information on applying is found at http://www.smesiouxfalls.org/YouthEducation.shtml . 

How Can You Help?

SME Sioux Falls would welcome any last minute donations for the silent and live auction packages, and/or you may purchase tickets for $50 each by calling 605-336-5626.  Tables of 10 are $500 and would be reserved in your name.
